DC Daily Canceled at DC Universe

DC Daily canceled at DC Universe reportedly. It was a news streaming line that offered news and depth reviews about various titles on DC Universe. Not only comics it also discussed movies and TV Shows as well.

DC Daily started premiering on back in 2018. It ran over more than 400 episodes until it finally came to an end this year. The show featured a variety of hosts such as Hector Navarro, Clarke Wolfe, Samm Levine, Sam Humphries, as well as Whitney Moore and Amy Dallen.

As collider confirmed, DC spokesman provided a comment regarding the situation.

After more than 400 episodes, DC Daily will air its final broadcast on Friday, July 3. This year has brought more challenges than the show could overcome. We thank all the fans and talent and hosts for bringing this show to life. It’s been a fun ride.

DC Daily was a cheap product regarding cost value. But it could not survive the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Many production challenges and occurred due to coronavirus made the show to terminate its production. The last episode will be aired on Friday 3rd July. Of the last few episodes. The new episode will premier at 6.00 pm ET today.

Future of DC Streaming Service

DC Streaming service is currently streaming the newly announced DC Stargirl. 2nd season of Doom Patrol will is slated to premiere on 25th June. Also, adult-centered Harley Quinn series is now ongoing.

As DC Daily canceled, it raises the huge question of the future of DC Streaming service’s future. With the newly launched HBO Max service, it is highly likely that Warner Bros will merge the services as HBO Max. There are many DC content being created at the HBO Max service as well. Especially long awaited Zack Snyder’s Justice League getting released on HBO Max streaming service in 2021.

HBO Max has already made plans for its own original live-action DC content. They include a Green Lantern series, Strange Adventures, and Justice League Dark. It’s that content situation, among other things, that have led many to wonder if users will see value in having both a DC Universe subscription and an HBO Max subscription.
