As we all know, the COVID-19 outbreak has caused many issues all over the globe. In Hollywood many movies got their theater releases canceled or pushed back to a later date. A huge anticipated movie in the 2020 calendar was Marvel’s Black Widow. Now the Marvel Studios has decided to give it a new release date.

With the launch of Iron Man in 2008, The Marvel Cinematic Universe was born. Almost after a decade the saga finally came to an end with Avengers: Endgame. The saga finale delivered a huge blow to one of the lead female avengers in the group. Natasha sacrificed herself in order to save the world. Avenger Endgame screened back in 2019 by using 2023 as the movie timeline. So the upcoming Black Widow movie story fits in the timeline after Captain America: Civil War (2016). It’s not the only reason why fans all over the world looking forward to the release of the film. In a world mostly dominated by male super-hero films, Black Widow is one of the major female key characters. It can set the balance between hero diversity and a strong representation of women empowerment.

On the bright side, the movie starred by Scarlett Johannsson aka Black Widow did not get its release date pushed too far. Marvel had originally planned its worldwide release in April 2020. But due to the global pandemic, Marvel has decided to release the movie on November 6, 2020.

Black Widow gets a new release date to screen on 6th November globally, according to Marvel. But as may it seems, fans in the United Kingdom going to have the chance of seeing the movie a week before the worldwide release. The producers of the movie want to screen the film a week earlier in the UK. Before coronavirus struck pretty much every activity all over the globe, the original release dates of the movie in the UK and US were supposed to be some time in May.

The movie is finally about to reveal some info about Natasha’s life before Avengers and SHIELD. The previous movies that Black Widow had appeared, didn’t show up much about her past. In only delivered some minor details about her time as a Russian assassin. Also her training period in the Red Room.

Marvel Studios has decided to fill that gap with the dedicated movie. The movie will go through the depths of unseen aspects of her life than ever before. If you are not familiar with MCU yet, Natasha’s Russian family will take the center spotlight as they unite to help her. Together they plan to defeat the Red Room. This includes Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz), and Alexei Shostakov (David Harbour). David Harbour will star as the Red Guardian. All four of them will team up against The Taskmaster who has the ability to perfectly mimic anyone’s fighting style and also happen to be the leader of the Red Room.
